MoniQA and the Bureau of Chemical Safety in Health Canada’s Food Directorate and the Food Allergy Research and Resource Program (FARRP) sponsored the the Sixth Workshop on Food Allergen Methodologies which took place in Toronto, Canada on May 9-12, 2010.
As a follow-up to the 2008 workshop the Sixth Workshop on Food Allergen Methodologies increased consultation, information exchange, and harmonization in the area of food allergens and analytical methods for food allergens.
The Sixth Workshop on Food Allergen Methodologies gathered scientists, chemists, analysts and other representatives from government agencies, university, industry and consumer associations, to discuss issues related to detection, identification, characterization, and control of allergen residues in foods.
MoniQA was represented by Bert Pöpping (Eurofins) and Roland E.Poms (ICC).
