The workshop “Socio-Economics for food scientists” is restricted to participants of the MoniQA NoE only.
Topics and content have been created considering especially the needs of partners involved in work package 7.
Participants get introduced to economic concepts relevant in food safety, the economics of regulations (social regulation of risks) and also the evaluation of regulations (definition, ex-post evaluation and ex-ante evaluation). A focus on ex-ante methods (e.g. cost benefit analysis, multicriteria analysis) concludes the workshop.
The workshop is limited to max. 8 participants only and is by invitation only.
