This session will provide an overview of the state of the art with regard to analytical challenges and socioeconomic impacts connected with emerging and persisting food scares. In particular, this session will provide an in-depth look at areas including food allergens, chemical and processing toxicants, mycotoxins/phycotoxins and emerging issues such as nanoparticles, in foods and feeds.
