Some 60 participants from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom, Austria, Germay, United States and various others attended the first FOODSAFE’09 Symposium in Grenaa, Denmark from 28 – 29 April 2009. MoniQA was presented in the context of improving the reliability of rapid methods by Marcella Gross who presented the recent activities of the project and invited participants to get involved in the project.
Participants represented food diagnostics companies, test kit manufactures, test kit providers, distributors, standardisation bodies, research institutions and others, mainly Scandinavian countries. This international platform was a good opportunity to present MoniQA and to enhance collaboration in the Scandinavian community.
