Held 2 March 2014 and following on from the successful series of Workshops held immediately prior to the recent Sessions of CCMAS the IAM/MoniQA Workshop organisers were asked by delegates to further develop a number of issues of concern. In particular they were asked to consider whether it would be appropriate to develop a Workshop todiscuss “Sampling issues in the light of new approaches and existing Codex Standards”.This has becomeparticularly important given the increasing awareness of sampling uncertainty and at the same time confusion about its assessment and procedures to take appropriate and representative samples in different commercial and regulatory environments.
