The MoniQA communication training, which was held in conjunction with the “MoniQA FST on Reference materials and method validation in food safety assurance” at the BOKU in Vienna, Austria (Marchj 15-16, 2010) brought together 23 young scientists from Turkey, Hungary, Romania, Austria, Indonesia, Spain and Vietnam. The training enables the participants to improve their presentation skills and increase their understanding of the relationship between science and the media.
